🌟”Sharing Our Joy” Blog: Happy Tails Spotlight 🌟

October 16, 2020

🍭🧁Today our blog is dedicated to our handsome boy, Marco🧁🍭

🧁Marco came to the GFTAO rescue with his 3 siblings, from an owner surrender at 8 weeks old🧁

🍭Marco and his siblings were all very sweet and playful and it didn’t take long for Marco to find his forever home🍭

🧁Here is a note from Marco’s adoptive mom, “In August 2019 my husband, Mike, and I FINALLY started our journey to look for our first dog together. We went to several different shelters and rescues to find a puppy to give a loving happy home. We saw many, many dogs but none had given us that spark in connection until we met Marco.

Every time we left a rescue or shelter our hearts broke. We wanted to help and love all the dogs that didn't have homes.

The first time I held Marco he nuzzled his head into my cheek and my heart skipped a beat. At that very second I knew he had to be our dog. That night we got home and put in our application with GFTAO and anxiously waited for a reply. After our adoption application was approved, Marco’s foster mom contacted me to bring Marco over for a home visit. My husband said the last time he saw me smile so big was when he asked me to marry him. 😆

We rushed out and got a cage, a couple toys, and puppy food. When foster mom pulled into our driveway I went outside and there was our baby boy.

From that moment I knew he was going to be spoiled.

Today Marco’s favorite things are to going for a car ride, sleeping, snuggles, playing, going to the dog park, treats, learning new tricks, and did I mention how much he loves sleeping?

My husband and I tell Marco every day how handsome and smart he is, and at least twice a day we say how lucky we are that Marco picked us. He is my shadow and our perfect baby boy.

We love him to the moon and back. THANK YOU Guardians! I cannot imagine my life without Marco🧁

🍭🧁Marco we are so happy for you and your forever family! We know your days are filled with love and happiness, Happy Tails you handsome boy🧁🍭
