GUARDIANS RAINBOW BRIDGE

Those we lost but tried so hard to save.  Fly High!!

MISS TILLY

Our sweet girl Miss Tilly lost her fight today 6/8/18 @ 1:25pm.  Guardians team by her side she crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Miss Tilly is the little emaciated girl that was dumped at Salt Fork State Park. We went and got her and took her to Medvets in the early morning hours last Saturday. We loved this sweetie from the first moment we saw her.

She was named after Guardians team member's mom and now she is welcoming her with love on the other side of the bridge.

Thank you ODNR Officer Tim for finding her and reaching out. Thank you to Guardians team member's sister for calling about her. Thank you to the Medvets staff for giving her so much love and care. She was the popular girl there. Thank you to everyone for your love, prayers and donations for her. Thank you to the Guardians for the Animals of Ohio team for loving Miss Tilly as one of your own.

We love you MISS TILLY ❤️

ATHENA

Athena Story

She was a former Pittie Paw Rescue dog who we pulled from Knox County Ohio Animal Shelter on Feb 11, 2019.   She was about 8 year old Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog Mix.  She loved people & loved he treats.

Unfortunately on December 5, 2020, we were saddened  to inform all our amazing followers & supporters that we had to unfortunately say goodbye & help our amazing beautiful senior gal - Athena to the Rainbow Bridge this morning.

Athena was found that morning very ill & she was rushed to Medvet where she was assessed & evaluated. After discussion with the Medvet team, the decision was made with quality of life & making sure she did not suffer to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. She was surrounded by the love of our Director & her favorite volunteer as we showered her with kisses & love when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

We are deeply saddened as Athena was a former Pittie Paw Rescue dog but we are glad we had the opportunity to give her the love, attention she truly deserved in the short time we had her.

We will miss her greatly. She was an absolute joy & always smiling, giving lots of kisses, & wanting to be a 70 pound lap dog. Please pray for all those who knew Athena, loved her unconditionally & pray for healing in this difficult time.

Rolo Story

Rolo was a 19 week old American Pit Bull mix puppy we

pulled from Southern Ohio dog pound who was dumped in a crate with no food or water. He was skinny & shelter reached out for help & we couldn't say NO to this adorable face. He seemed like your normal active fun loving puppy but soon we saw some changes in Rolo that was very concerning. He didn't want to eat much & picked at his food, drank tons of water & sometimes vomited it all up. He was already skinny from neglect. We took him to our vet for some answers & he was diagnosed with Megaesophagus.

Unfortunately on October 21, 2019, that our warrior Rolo lost his battle and crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning unexpectedly. We are saddened that we could not give him the life he truly deserved but also know he is free of pain, disease free & up in doggie heaven running & playing like he should. We will all miss him dearly especially his foster mommy who loved him unconditionally. Please pray for all of us & foster mommy to ease the pain and loss. Thank you to everybody who helped our warrior Rolo & the amazing support.

Rest easy our warrior Rolo. We love you!!
